Getting Started with the Overview Module

Overview Module Walkthrough


  1. Navigate to the Overview module from the left-side navigation panel.



  1. You will be redirected to the Overview dashboard, which provides a comprehensive summary of your business performance.



  1. Use the Date Filter to view data for a specific time period. The available options include:


  • This Week – Displays data for the current week.
  • This Month – Displays data for the current calendar month.
  • Last Month – Displays data for the previous calendar month.
  • This Quarter – Displays data for the current quarter.
  • Last 6 Months – Displays data from the previous six months.
  • Last 12 Months – Displays data from the previous twelve months.



  1. Click the Currency dropdown to view financial data in your preferred currency.



  1. Click the All Entities dropdown to filter and view data for a specific entity.



  1. To personalize the dashboard, click the Customize option and enable or disable widgets using the toggle buttons based on your preferences.




  1. Click the Done button to save your changes. Only the enabled widgets will be displayed on the Overview dashboard.




  1. Under the Outstanding Invoices section, click the Arrow icon to navigate to the Outstanding Invoices screen, where you can view all unpaid invoices.



  1. The dashboard also includes the AR Aging widget. Click the Arrow icon to open the AR Aging Report, which provides a breakdown of outstanding invoices based on their aging period.



  1. The Collection Trend widget displays a graphical representation of payments collected over a selected period, helping you monitor cash flow and analyze payment collection trends.



  1. The Overview dashboard includes the following key performance widgets:


  • Collected – Displays the total payments successfully received from clients.
  • Outstanding – Shows the total amount that is yet to be collected.
  • Overdue – Displays the total value of overdue invoices.
  • Avg. Days to Pay – Indicates the average number of days clients take to pay their invoices.
  • Draft – Shows invoices that have been created but not yet sent.
  • Sent – Displays invoices that have been sent to clients.
  • Viewed – Indicates invoices that have been viewed by clients.
  • Paid – Displays invoices that have been paid successfully.



  1. The dashboard also provides the following informational widgets:


  • Recent Activity – Displays the latest activities performed in your account, including invoice creation, payments received, estimates, expenses, and other recent updates.
  • Project Billing – Provides an overview of your project billing status, including billable amounts, generated invoices, and project-related revenue.
